Typography posters

Understanding Type

This was my initial attempt at understanding how to use font size and hierarchy to determine the balance of what information should be displayed to the eye first.

This was my second poster I had done alongside the first. Using the font and symbols given within the font created by the original designer I attempted to have more fun before moving to color. As instructed I had to partner my sans serif with a serif.

Finishing touches

My color choice was to mimic the original font tint on the first generation Macintosh computers. I also attempted to mimic the 8-bit edges for the banners while still trying to maintain the hierarchy of information with my font pair.
